Minigames is a premium module: €5.99, once, for one server - no subscription. In the dashboard a locked module shows every setting as a preview before you buy. How premium works

Games for two (tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, rock-paper-scissors), games for one (trivia, hangman, minesweeper, number guessing) and quick ones (coin flip, dice, 8-ball) - plus two channel games that run all day: Count-up and Word Morph.

Setting it up

  1. Optional: limit /game to certain channels.
  2. For the channel games, pick a channel each under Count-up channels and Word Morph channels. Every channel is its own game.

Commands

Settings

Everything you can set for this module in the dashboard.

  • Only allow games in these channels - Empty = everywhere.
  • Trivia answer time (seconds)
  • Count-up channels - Channels where members count up together - maths allowed. Every channel has its own count.
  • Channels - Members type the next number. Maths like (67*3)+1 is allowed. Pangobot reacts with ✅ or ❌. Each channel counts on its own; the current numbers can be changed under "Running games" above.
  • Nobody may count twice in a row
  • A wrong number resets the count to 0 - Off = wrong numbers are just rejected.
  • Word Morph channels - Change one letter at a time to make a new word, with points and a leaderboard. Every channel is its own game.
  • Channels - Change, add or remove one letter to form a new dictionary word. Longer words score more points. Stuck? "restart" or "hint" after the server prefix starts a vote among the players (3 votes within 90 minutes; a valid word cancels it). The leaderboard of the running chain: /game leaderboard, or "lb" after the server prefix in the channel ("lb all" for all time).
  • Nobody may play twice in a row
  • Extra words that are accepted - Words the dictionary does not know: newer ones (emoji, selfie), names, words of your own community. 3 to 20 letters, a-z only.
  • Words that are not accepted - Refused even though the dictionary knows them.

Good to know

  • Count-up: members type the next number; maths like (67*3)+1 counts. The bot reacts with a tick or a cross. Optionally nobody may count twice in a row, and a wrong number resets the count.
  • Word Morph: change, add or remove one letter to make a new dictionary word. Longer words score more. No word twice in one chain.
  • Votes in Word Morph: !restart or !hint (or /game wordmorph vote:) opens a vote - three votes within 90 minutes. A valid word in the meantime cancels the vote and the game goes on. A hint names the kind of step and shows the word with one letter left open, never the word itself.
  • You can add extra accepted words (names, newer words) and words that are not accepted.
  • Wins against other members can pay out server currency: see Economy.
