Announces new YouTube videos, Reddit posts and entries of any RSS/Atom feed (blogs, podcasts, Mastodon, Bluesky, Steam news ...) - each source in its own channel, with its own text, embed and role ping. Twitch and Kick live alerts are part of the module where the team has switched them on.

Setting it up

1. Add a source, choose the channel and, if you like, a role to ping.
2. Write the text and the embed. Put {url} into the text above the embed if you want Discord's own video player under the message.

Settings

Everything you can set for this module in the dashboard.

• Live alerts - Posted within about two minutes of a stream starting. A stream that drops and comes back within half an hour is not announced twice.
• Not switched on yet - Twitch and Kick alerts need the keys of a (free) developer app on those platforms. The team running this bot has not added them yet.
• New videos and posts - Checked every five minutes. Only what appears after you add a source is announced - never a backlog.
• YouTube channels
  • YouTube channel ID - Looks like UCxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - on YouTube: channel page → "…more" → Share channel → Copy channel ID.

  • Role to ping
  • Text above the embed - Placeholders: {title} {author} {url}. Put {url} here if you want Discord's own player / preview under the message.
  • Embed - Placeholders: {title} {author} {url}
  • Show the thumbnail / post image in the embed

  • Post in - Posts marked NSFW are skipped unless this channel is age-restricted in Discord.

Good to know

• Feeds are checked every five minutes, live streams about every two.
• Only what appears after you add a source is announced - never a backlog.
• YouTube needs the channel ID (starts with UC): channel page > "...more" > Share channel > Copy channel ID.
• Reddit posts marked NSFW are skipped unless the target channel is age-restricted.
• A stream that drops and returns within half an hour is not announced twice.
