Free and premium
Which modules are free, which cost something, what they cost right now, and how buying, product keys and reward links work.
Most of Pangobot is free and stays usable without ever paying. A few larger modules are premium: they are unlocked once, for one server, for good. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

The team can move a module between free and premium and change prices; this table always shows the state of this moment. What you have unlocked stays unlocked.
Free modules
- Moderation - Bans, kicks, timeouts, warnings and a full case history.
- AutoMod - Stops spam, invite links, banned words and mention raids automatically.
- Join Guard - Screens new members and reacts to join raids.
- Logging - A paper trail for messages, joins, roles, moderation, invites, voice and server changes - each in a channel of its own if you like.
- User Reports - Members report users or messages straight to your moderators.
- Welcome & Goodbye - Greets new members, says goodbye and thanks boosters - with your own embeds.
- Join Roles - Gives roles to new members and restores roles when someone rejoins.
- Role Menus - Self-assignable roles with buttons, dropdowns or emoji reactions.
- Custom Commands - Your own text commands and automatic replies.
- Embeds & Sticky Messages - Build rich embed posts from the dashboard and pin messages to the bottom of a channel.
- Social Notifications - YouTube, Reddit and any RSS feed - new videos and posts, each announced in your own embed.
- Countdowns - Posts a daily countdown to your event, release or birthday - in your own embed.
- Scheduled Messages - Write a message once, have it posted on time: on a date, or every day, week or month - in your time zone.
- Reminders - "/remind me in 2h ..." - personal reminders, delivered in the channel or as a direct message.
- Birthdays - Members set their birthday with /birthday - the server congratulates on the day and hands out a birthday role.
- Search - /search across YouTube, Reddit, Wikipedia and GitHub - with safe search outside age-restricted channels.
AI Help is free as a module but runs on a prepaid balance: every answer of the AI costs a small amount that is taken from credit you top up yourself. Nothing is used beyond the limits you set.
How buying works
- Open the locked module in the dashboard. You see all of its settings as a preview and the price on the Unlock button.
- Choose Unlock for this server - or Buy as a gift, which gives you a product key instead.
- Payment runs on Stripe's checkout page. Pangobot never sees your card details.
- The module is unlocked within seconds of the payment. It appears under Purchases & keys in your user menu.
Product keys
- A key unlocks one module on one server, permanently. It is redeemed in the dashboard (Redeem a product key) or in Discord with
/redeem(needs Manage Server). - A key works once. Until it is redeemed you can look it up again under Purchases & keys.
- Keys are how giveaways and gifts work: buy as a gift, hand over the key.
Reward links
The team sometimes hands out reward links (for testers, events, giveaways). Opening one shows which modules it contains; after logging in with Discord you choose the server that gets them. A link can be limited in uses and in time.
The small print
- Prices are final prices. The contract details, including the right of withdrawal for digital content, are in the Terms of Service.
- A module the team has switched off for everybody ("not available at the moment") cannot be bought until it is back.
