Limits
- A reminder can be set from 1 minute to one year ahead.
Good to know
- Times are written like
10m,2h,3d,1wor combined:1d12h. - With Send reminders as a direct message on, a direct message that cannot be delivered (the member has them closed) comes in the channel after all.
- The number of open reminders per member is limited (you choose the limit).
- A reminder is only posted in a channel where its author may write (at the time it is set, and again when it is due) - otherwise, and when its text would break the server's AutoMod rules, it comes as a direct message. So
/remindcannot make Pangobot post into a read-only channel like #announcements. - A reminder that may only come privately (for one of those reasons) cannot reach a member whose direct messages are closed:
/remind metells them to keep them open. - In a thread or forum post, Send Messages in Threads is what counts.
- A member who leaves the server takes their open reminders with them.
