Minecraft Whitelist Premium · €7.99

Your Discord server decides who may join your Minecraft server: members link their account with a code, roles and timeouts count, staff can approve.

Minecraft Whitelist is a premium module: €7.99, once, for one server - no subscription. In the dashboard a locked module shows every setting as a preview before you buy. How premium works

Your Discord server decides who may join your Minecraft server. Members link their Minecraft account with a short code; after that, your roles, timeouts and leaving the server count on the Minecraft server too - within seconds.

Setting it up

  1. On the module's page, press Connect a Minecraft server and give it a name. Pangobot shows a token - once.
  2. Download the plugin there and put it into the server's plugins folder. Start the server once: the plugin makes the file plugins/Pangobot/pangobot.properties.
  3. Paste the two lines from the dashboard into that file. They are read within a few seconds - no restart. The module's page then shows the server as online, with what it runs.
  4. Choose who may join: roles, a time on the server, staff approval. Post a Link Minecraft account button with /minecraft panel, or tell members about /minecraft link.

How a member gets in

  1. They join the Minecraft server. It sends them away with a code of six letters and digits, valid for 10 minutes.
  2. On Discord they use /minecraft link (or the button) and type the code into the box.
  3. They join again - in, as long as the settings let them. With Staff approves first, the request is posted to your approval channel with Approve and Deny first.

The code is what proves the Minecraft player is the one asking: nobody can put somebody else's account on their own name. An account linked to one member cannot be linked by another - they (or the staff) unlink it first with /minecraft unlink.

Which servers it runs on

One jar for all of them: Paper, Spigot, Purpur and Folia from Minecraft 1.8 on, and the proxies BungeeCord, Waterfall and Velocity - on a network, put it on the proxy only. It uses nothing but the login event, which has stayed the same in every version since, so a new Minecraft version does not need a new plugin. Bedrock players who join through Geyser and Floodgate link the same way; switch them off if you do not want them.

When Pangobot cannot be reached

Your server's own whitelist (white-list=true) can stay on: a player Pangobot lets in also gets past it - only that refusal is overruled, a ban or a full server still keeps them out. On a network with the plugin on the proxy, the servers behind it should not have a whitelist of their own.

The plugin keeps the list of who may join on disk and fetches it again every few seconds. If Pangobot cannot be reached, everybody on that list still gets in; somebody new is asked to try again in a minute. While the plugin has no token yet, or its token was removed on the dashboard, it does not check anybody - your server's own whitelist applies. The same while the module is switched off or locked.

Who may join

Only members with one of these rolesRoles

Empty: every member.

Never members with one of these rolesRoles
Not while timed outSwitchOn

A timed-out member cannot join until the timeout ends. Their account stays linked.

Bedrock players (through Geyser and Floodgate)SwitchOn
Send away players who lose access while they playSwitchOn

Within a few seconds: they left the Discord server, lost the role, were timed out or unlinked.

Always let in (Minecraft names)Listup to 25 entries

Without a linked account - for the owner or a staff member without Discord. Only on a server in online mode: in offline mode anybody can use any name.

Limits

  • Roles that may approve: up to 10
  • Only members with one of these roles: up to 10
  • Never members with one of these roles: up to 10
  • Always let in: up to 25
  • Up to 3 Minecraft servers per Discord server.
  • A code works for 10 minutes; 6 wrong codes per member in 10 minutes.
  • The plugin runs on Paper, Spigot, Purpur and Folia from 1.8 on, on BungeeCord, Waterfall and Velocity.

Good to know

  • Who may join is worked out every time somebody joins, not stored: losing a role, getting an excluded one, a timeout or leaving the Discord server locks the account out at once, and getting the role back lets it in again. With Send away players who lose access while they play, a player already on the server is sent away within a few seconds.
  • A member who leaves (or is banned) takes their links along. Always let in is for the owner or staff without Discord - by Minecraft name, so only on a server in online mode.
  • Up to 3 Minecraft servers per Discord server, one token each. A token works only for its own server and only asks who may join - it cannot run commands or change anything. Lost one? New token stops the old one at once. Pangobot keeps only a fingerprint of it.
  • At most 6 wrong codes per member in 10 minutes. Show linked accounts lists who linked what, with Approve and Unlink.
  • The message /minecraft panel posts with its button, and the button's text, are settings of their own - write your own, with {server} for the server's name. Left as they are, they are written in your server's language.

What the bot needs

  • View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in the approval channel (staff approval) and where /minecraft panel posts the button.
